Whether it is learning any new and hip lingo, or simply forgetting words due to lack of use, it can be difficult to stay proficient in the long haul. Luckily, there is a way that you can stay current on both French and Spanish in a fun, interactive way. On August 15, a language exchange will be held at Kramer’s Bar and Grill (1915 Yonge Street, Toronto, M4S1Z3, ON). If you are looking to practice both of these languages, then this is the spot for you.

This informal meet-up will allow those who are looking to stay tri-lingual a place to practice. Every 15 minutes, the entire group will switch between the two languages (French and Spanish), and you will also switch partners. This is a great way to reach out and meet those with a similar language interests, and you also can practice with those who might have more or less knowledge than you. Sometimes, a topic will be announced that each pair will specifically talk about, but otherwise it is freeform. This meet-up will grant everyone the opportunity to practice their language skills in a low-key, friendly environment. Everyone is there for a similar reason, and is looking for other friendly Canadians to chat with in various languages.

These language exchanges will take place on the third Monday of each month. In order for these meetings to be successful, they need your help in the form of a donation.
